Gregory L. Taylor, Ed.D.
Dr. Taylor has a myriad of experience in both industry and academia. He has been a middle and high school math and science instructor in both private and public institutions. He has worked in both suburban and urban districts and currently is a Math Curriculum Coach for Hazelwood School District in Florissant MO. Dr. Taylor has worked in Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Construction Contracting. He has also been heavily involved in martial arts, and has had a series of Dojo spaces over the last 30+ years helping to advance well over 30 high level practitioners to various Black Belt ranks in a variety of arts, and in a variety of locations both here and abroad.
Dr. Taylor’s educational background is as diverse as his professional experiences. He has attained A.A.S. in Architecture/Civil Engineering at Jefferson College (rural community), B.S. in Education with both mathematics and science minors from Harris Stowe State University (urban), M.S. in Biology from Washington University (St. Louis Campus), and Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Maryville University (St. Louis Campus). Besides these completed degree programs Dr. Taylor explored Computer Networking at St. Louis Community College at Meramec to upgrade his 21st century skill set. Dr. Taylor is also PLTW (Project Lead the Way) certified in Introduction to Engineering Design (IED) and Principles of Engineering (POE) as well as being a certified eMINTS teacher.
Dr. Taylor brings his vast experience in various content topics and educational strategies for youth and adult learners together with current research on brain science and cognitive development to present a dynamic and entertaining set of experiences designed to maximize engagement, understanding, and practical take away strategies for students, educators and administrators of all levels of experience.
